Home Fitness practice tool - Tunturi Recumbent Bike enterprise recite

When it comes to choosing which brand of home fitness rehearsal tool to buy for your home, it is easy to just give up and pick the cheapest one. There are simply too many choices and unless you are up to date with the whole rehearsal tool for home use business, along with all the price ranges and what all the features mean you might as well forget it. For the mid price range recumbent bikes, which is nearby the 00, plus or minus, there are many choices. At this price level you tend to expect a higher capability engine with lots of features to use.

Bike Review

The Tunturi recumbent bike could actually fit into the mix at this price range. The question with the Tunturi brand is that it is a Scandinavian company, with machines that are hand-built in Europe. This could make it tougher to compete with all of the more recognizable American companies. The lowest line is people have to look at the features and outline out which engine will be a good fit. They have no question buying furniture at Ikea, so this should not make too much of a disagreement either.

The Tunturi business makes both upright and recumbent rehearsal bikes. They pride themselves as being pioneers in the home fitness rehearsal tool industry and the business holds the patents to many of the unique and innovative features The main benefit of any recumbent bike is the ergonomic design. With pioneers in the field behind it, you should expect the institute of a Tunturi tool to give you the most up to date designs to make your workout the most beneficial. By exercising in the relaxed position, where you lean back in the adjustable padded seat, all the power is focused on your legs and hips, and not straining the back, shoulder and arm muscles unnecessarily. The thing is, all recumbent bikes are designed this way. The one feature the Tunturi seems to have that is not found in most other models is adjustable tilt-handlebars that can work with the adjustable seating principles to get a best fit.

The Tunturi recumbent bike is pretty much like most of the other mid to high-end rehearsal bikes you find when searching online when it comes to pre-set programs offered and data it keeps track of. Their Lcd monitor is a slight different since it uses a choice wheel where you turn it to the icon for the program you want to use, instead of a touch screen pad. This actually might make it easier to see as those Lcd screens are not all the time clear, but it is a different set-up than what a lot of people are used to seeing.

In summary, The Tunturi recumbent bike is pretty much like any other home fitness rehearsal equipment. It has a few unique features, but when it comes right down to it, the best feature might be the heavy-duty institute and hand-made framework. This level of workmanship is often only found in the high-end tool that normally is only found in fitness centers. To get such a solid institute at this price range. How much of a selling point that is hard to tell, since lots of folks are looking for lightweight machines for their home use.

recite - Kenda C2C Road Race Tires

Tires are one of the parts that no ifs ands or buts makes a variation to how your bike rides. I was running the Michelin Speedium which were an okay tire but felt a bit sluggish. They were pretty tough but I wanted something faster. I swapped out my current tires for the Kenda C2C road tires ( 700x23). These are one of Kenda's selected road race tires with a 120 tpi casing and dual composition rubber.

Bike Review

They were designed by Tinker Juarez for his entry in the Race over America. The weight of the Kenda C2C is 215 grams so they are pretty light. They have a layer of armored material under the tread to growth puncture resistance.

The Kenda's were 120 grams lighter each than the tires I had been riding which I noticed right away when it came to accelerations. The high tread count made for a no ifs ands or buts supple ride. When inflated to 120 psi they still felt smooth. A stiffer casing at this pressure is harsh riding but that's not the case with higher end tires. When going in a level line they no ifs ands or buts roll fast which is good. I need all the help I can get. Rubber composition make a noticeable variation in the speed of a tire. The grip is good on steep hill climbs even in the wet.

When it comes to cornering, this is where I found the tire no ifs ands or buts shined. The softer rubber on the sides and the fine tread pattern let me rail corners. As long as there was no gravel I felt sure taking corners at full speed and laying the bike right over. The supple casing conformed to the ground without being squirming around.

After 1500 kms, the rear tire shows a bit of wear but still has many miles left. The front looks like new. In that time I've had no flats. Whether that is the puncture unyielding belt or just good luck I can't say but my last tires had 5 flats in that distance. The tire that I would say is closest in ride potential is the Michelin Pro Race. The Pro Race is a very fast tire but is fragile. Unlike the Michelin, the Kenda C2C doesn't get minute cuts in the tread from this length of riding.

If the gold cornering tread works with your color scheme, then your should give these tires a shot. I find them as good as other clubs selected race tires, but at about half the cost. If your racing or riding a lot you will go through tires. Getting twice as many for the price is a big savings. Kenda doesn't get the prestige it deserves for the potential of their road tires being know for their offroad tires but the C2C no ifs ands or buts does the job.

Bike recite - Raleigh Usa One Way single Speed Cyclocross Bike

Simple, practical and stylish. If you are finding for a particular speed or fixed gear bike for year round commuting or training, the Raleigh Usa One Way a great option. The One Way is a duplicate butted steel cyclocross frame, set-up for particular speed riding. The bike is made to be practical but still has a lot of panache with a Brooks B-17 pre-aged leather saddle and customary round bend drop bars.

Bike Review

Raleigh has been manufacture quality steel bikes for a long time so it's cool to see them bring out a bike that has an old school feel mated with modern features such as sealed cartridge bearing hubs and bottom bracket and deep profile rims. The rear wheel is a flip-flop, with a fixed cog on one side and free wheel on the other so you can ride fixed but aren't forced too if you aren't comfortable with not being able to coast. The frame runs cantilever brakes and has lots of frame clearance so there is room for wide tires (up to 40 mm) with full wrap fenders, which it comes with.

I've been riding a One Way for about a year now and out of my fleet of bikes, it gets ridden more often than all the others. The conjecture for this is functionality. 35 mm wide Vittoria Randonneur Cross tires with fenders make it exquisite for just about any weather and road condition. I've done long gravel polisher rides on dirt roads and rail trails as well as daily commuting. The tire clearance will allow steel studded tires for winter riding but I haven't needed them this year as we've had so slight snow.

I run mine as a fixed gear and have taken the freewheel off. I love off season fitness riding on a fixed gear as you get all the systems hit within a particular ride. You build durability on the flats, muscular durability on the climbs and learn to spin smoothly at high cadence on the downhills. Riding a fixie is very time sufficient as an hour ride is an hour of pedaling with no coasting.

The Raleigh Usa One Way is a great value for specialty bike like this. Most fixed gear/single speed bikes are built on a road geometry frame limiting the size of tire and often have no room for fenders. The cyclocross frame makes for a more versatile platform for whatever who wants an all weather bike. The One Way makes a great road bike for mountain bikers and for me it's a great all round machine for both commuting and training. I can see having this bike 10 years from now, which is saying a lot for me as I tend to flip my bikes every year or two for the latest models. The Raleigh One Way has a always in vogue quality to it that will make it just as beneficial years from now as it is today.
